Saturday afternoon we responded to a reported structure fire. There ground was covered in snow and the temperatures were in the singe digits.  Upon arrival, the entire rear of the building was fully engulfed in flames.  When the first piece of apparatus arrived (7 minutes from dispatch) the flames were bellowing out the front door.  Mutual aid was given from Bound Brook  (23), Community (25), Elizabeth Ave (26), Somerset (56), and Middlesex Fire Departments as well as County Coordinators and multiple rescue squads and rehab units. The fire was extinguished with no injuries.  Unfortunately, the fire did take the life of the family's pet dog.
