The nor'easter brought about a months worth of rain, hail, thunder, lightning and howling wind to New Jersey in one weekend. This caused the banks of the Delaware Canal and Raritan River to "crest" which caused flooding all around the area. Many roads were closed from the flooding, including the Queens Bridge leading into Bound Brook and Main Street leading into Somerset Franklin. The storm also left many people without power or water and their basements filling with storm water. The town of Bound Brook's entire Main Street was left under water.
